2012 Sundowner

The Sundowner Tournament will be held on Saturday, September 8th, 2012 in conjunction with the Couples Tournament (you may play in either Tourney or both)

The format will be a Flighted, Gross and Net Individual Score Tournament.

Total Entry Fee is: $ 74.00 , (or $71.00 with a valid Foothills District I.D. card).

Fee Includes: $15.00 entry fee, $1.00 Course Recognition Fee, $1.00 Meadows Ryder Cup Fee, $14.00 mandatory cart fee, $43.00 Green Fees (or $40 w/ current Foothills I.D. card)

The Tournament Day information sheet will specify the rules, flights and payoffs as specified by the Tournament Committee.

There will be a SHOTGUN START AT 8:00 A.M. combined with the Couples Tournament.

The Championship Flight will consist of both Gross and Net scores.

All other flights will be Net Scores only.

All flights will use 100% USGA Handicap for 18 holes including Championship Flight Net Winners.

All ties for first place will be settled by a scorecard playoff as prescribed in the RULES OF GOLF.

All other ties will be combined and divided equally among the tying contestants. Trophies will be awarded at the Fall Banquet.

Winners will earn credit in the Pro Shop predicated on the number of participants in each flight and in conjunction with the Prize Credit Split contained in the TMGC Membership Book.

Playing in this tournament earns one (1) credit point.

Optional Side Pot Games will be available at the Pot Games Table.

Couples Tournament

The Sundowner Tournament will be held on Saturday, September 8th, 2012 in conjunction with the Couples Tournament. Select your own partner. Couples must be a man and a lady. There will be three flights. Ladies may establish a handicap with five score cards. Ladies without a handicap will be flighted together. All couples will be paired with other couples if possible.

Total Entry Fee is: $ 147.00 , (or $141.00 with a valid Foothills District I.D. card).

Fee Includes: $30.00 entry fee, $2.00 Course Recognition Fee, $1.00 Meadows Ryder Cup Fee, $28.00 mandatory cart fee, $86.00 Green Fees (or $80 w/ current Foothills I.D. card)

The Tournament Day information sheet will specify the rules, flights and payoffs as specified by the Tournament Committee.

TMGC members will play using Sundowner handicap and assigned tees. Ladies will play at 100% of their handicap using the printed Meadows Scorecard.

Scoring will consist of the best ball of either partner at each hole. Total team score must include at least six (6) hole scores from each playing partner. Players will be required to mark their card indicating whose score to use on each hole. Ties for 1st place will be decided with a scorecard playoff as prescribed in the Rules of Golf.

There will be a shotgun start at 8:00 A.M. combined with the Sundowner Tournament.

Optional Side Pot Games for the Ladies / Couples will be available at the Couples Sign in Table.

No tournament credit is earned for the Couples Tournament for TMGC Members. Scorecards for this event may be used for the Sundowner Tournament. This tournament is limited to the first 30 couples that sign up.
