2012 Member Member

The 4th Annual Member-Member Tournament will be held Saturday October 6th and Sunday October 7th, 2012. We will have a late start on Saturday probably at 9:00 am for the first Tee Time, and then an **8:00 am shotgun on Sunday**. The Entry fee is $104.00 per team. Cost per Individual is $52, which covers 2 days Entry Fees, Course Recognition Fund, Meadows Ryder Cup Fund and Barbeque Lunch on Sunday after our round. Greens Fees and Cart rentals for both days must be paid by each individual team member in the pro shop prior to beginning play on the 1st day.

Format: Chicago Quota System Flighted. Each player is given a quota based on his handicap and team member’s quotas are combined to determine the team quota. Each players handicap will be subtracted from 36 to determine that players quota (example = player #1 is a 10 course handicap, 36 minus 10 = 26 quota – player #2 is a 20 handicap, 36 minus 20 = 16 quota – combine the two for the team quota 26 + 16 = 42 team quota). Each player on the team is awarded points for gross scores and their points are combined to determine the team points. Points are awarded as follows:

Double Eagle +12,
Eagle +8,
Birdie +4,
Par +2,
Bogey 1,
Double Bogey or worse -1.

The team’s quota for the 2nd day will be adjusted up or down 50% based on the actual point total for the first round verses the quota for the first round. (Example = 1st day quota 42, first day points 36, difference of 6 points – adjust 50% or 3 in this case makes a 2nd day quota of 39.)

Teams entering the tournament with more than an 8 stroke index differential will be adjusted to a difference of 8 strokes between teammates. Teams will be FLIGHTED BY THE TOTAL TEAM INDEXES. The number of entries will determine the number of flights. All Flights will play GROSS (the quota provided is essentially each player’s handicap). The Tournament Day Information Sheet will specify the finalized and specific format, rules, flights, and payoffs as finalized by the Tournament Committee.

Winners earn credit in the Pro Shop predicated on the number of participants in each flight and in conjunction with the Prize Credit Split contained in the Membership Book. Playing in this tournament earns 2 Tournament credit points.
