2012 Club Championship

The TMGC Club Championship Tournament will be played over seventy-two (72) holes on consecutive weekends on August 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th, 2012.

The format will be Flighted, Individual Stroke Play as follows:

CHAMPIONSHIP FLIGHT: The Low Gross winner will be the Club Champion. This flight will also have a 1st place winner for Low Net.

ALL OTHER FLIGHTS: Net scores using 100% USGA Handicap for 72 holes. Low Total Net Individual score for the 72 holes wins each flight.

Cost is $68.00 total for the Club Championship. Includes $60.00 entry fee, $4.00 course recognition fee (CRF), $4.00 Meadows Ryder Cup fee. Green Fees for all rounds are required to be paid directly to the Pro Shop prior to the start of your 1st round.

Individuals 50+ years of age as of August 1st, 2012 are automatically entered in the SENIORS CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP. One low gross winner over all 4 days, regardless of tee played. Please check the appropriate box on the entry form. There is no charge for this event.

The optional SENIORS NET COMPETITION has returned to a 2-day event. The optional Seniors NET Competition is flighted by Tees played (Gold, Combo, Blue and White). For seniors playing only the optional Seniors Net Competition, cost is $34.00 (Includes $30.00 entry fee, $2.00 CRF fee, and $2.00 Meadows Ryder Cup fee). Green Fees for all rounds are required to be paid directly to the Pro Shop prior to the start of your 1st round. There is an additional $30.00 entry fee cost to individuals playing both the Club Championship and the optional Seniors NET Competition for a total of $98.00 ($68.00 + $30.00).

In the Championship Flight, a gross score first place tie will be settled by a sudden victory playoff. All players involved in such a tie must be available immediately following the Championship Flight’s play or forfeit their right to the playoff. All other first place ties will be settled by scorecard playoff as prescribed in the RULES OF GOLF. All other ties will be combined and then divided equally between the tying players.

Winners earn credit in the Pro Shop predicated on the total number of entries in each flight and in conjunction with the Tournament Prize Credit Split contained in the TMGC Membership Book. Trophies will be awarded at the Fall Banquet.

Playing in the Tournament earns one (1) credit for each day played.

Daily optional Pot Games will be available at the Pot Games Table.
